Its palmate, deeply lobed leaves are dark green with creamy white margins throughout the summer, and yellow orange in autumn. Clusters of yellow flowers emerge in spring, before the leaves show up, and are followed by winged nuts, samaras. Acer platanoides 'Drummondii' can grow in any soil, except peaty soils
