Losses were high, over 4,800 were built but at the end of the war fewer than fifty remained. In one operation alone, the evacuation from Tunisia over four hundred were lost. Well designed, well built.

The stick facilitates powerful, long distance throws. The ball makes a light whistling noise (to help your dog track the ball) through the air, flys far, and has held up well. I live in an area with mountain lions, and they often hunt at night, so I haven’t taken advantage of the glow-in-the-dark feature.
